How to Calculate Your Buyer Rebate

The “Calculate your rebate now” calculator on our website uses the following parameters:

The real estate commission rebate is calculated by taking the purchase price, multiplying by 2.8% and then multiplying that by 30%. The vast majority of listings in the metro Denver MLS are offering a 2.8% buyer agent commission. The commission offered could be higher or lower and this will impact your rebate. We will always provide you with a rebate of 30% of the commission we earn.

The calculator then adds a $2,000 lender credit to the real estate commission rebate. Many lenders will provide heroes with a lender credit up to this amount. However, the lender credit could be higher or lower depending on the loan program you choose and your interest rate. We consult with you to help you find the best lender for your specific needs.

Depending on the real estate commission percentage offered in the MLS and the lender you choose to work with, the actual rebate amount you receive at closing may be higher or lower than the result shown on the calculator.
